Laser surgery, sub mucus resection, chemo.

There are treatments for all patients with cancer of the paranasal sinus and nasal cavity. Three kinds of treatment are used: Surgery (taking out the cancer). Radiation therapy (using high-dose x-rays or other high-energy rays to kill cancer cells). Chemotherapy (using drugs to kill cancer cells).

It varies according to the stage and extent but any nasal cavity cancer should include, as part of treatment, the care and support of the referring physician, an otolaryngologist, a medical oncologist, a pathologist, and a nurse. If radiation therapy is pursued, a radiation oncologist, radiation therapist, radiation nurse, radiation physicist, and a dosimetrist will also be involved. Treatment will also probably include a psychologist, nutritionist, social worker and chaplain. For nasal cancers, a reconstructive or plastic surgeon may be necessary for optimum cosmetic results after removal of a nasal tumor. If surgical removal of the eye is necessary, specialists in prosthetic eye replacement will be necessary as well. About 80% of nasal cancers have already metastacized by the time it's diagnosed and all nasal are regarded as aggressive. Nasal cancers include many different types of cancers. Tumors are treated with chemo or surgery alone and followed up with radiation therapy. If the tumor recurs, it may be treated with both or with an experimental and/or untried treatment. Of those who die, most die from brain invasion of the tumor. As you said, this is a project you're supposed to be working on, not us. A major portion of this is doing the research. Make sure my name is also on your paper. LOL!
