Are antioxidants good while undergoing cancer treatment, or bad

Are antioxidants good while undergoing cancer treatment, or bad?
I understand the good that antioxidants can do, but in protecting cells, do they also protect the cancer cells themselves from destruction by chemotherapy/radiation? Are things like green tea extracts, mushroom extracts, etc. good or bad during standard cancer therapy? I've read things on both sides, showing both points of view.

There is no such thing as standard chemotherapy. There are hundreds of chemo drugs and they are often used in various combinations. You cannot expect all the things that contain antioxidants to either be good or bad with hundreds of different drugs. This is why you should not take anything without talking to your oncologist first.
