what do cancer mean and is there a treatment for it

what do cancer mean and is there a treatment for it?
in mu lab they tell me to talk about cancer and the treatment of cancer and the most thing i hate is that my teacher do not even explaint or talk about it during our experiment. She only told us to look it up on the internet.

Cancer is a disease when abnormal cells in a part of the body begin to grow out of control to form a tumor and it starts to spreads to other parts of the body and organs through the blood and lymph nodes. The most common treatments for cancer is Surgery, chemotherapy and Radiation therapy.

i beleave that cancer is a skin condition, that is beleaved to be uncontrolable skin growth that can kill u, that is ho w it was described, but i dont have any sources and i dont know how true taht is
