I'm very sorry to hear this. Stomach cancer is generally very painful and can be difficult to treat. It does not respond well to traditional chemo-therapy. The herbal treatments may reduce pain, but they will not treat the cancer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stomach_cancer

My Mom's an RN and she says that in her experience stomach, pancreatic and colon cancers are death sentences. Not trying to be grim, but that's reality with traditional treatments. However, I'd highly recommend the book A Cancer Battle Plan by Anne and Dave Frahm. Maybe it will help. And see Ann Fonfa's story at http://www.annieappleseed.com. Both had breast cancer, both beat it naturally. Ann Fonfa said her breast cancer was reversed with diet and herbs, only she found out what worked after she had a double mastectomy. Even after the mastectomy, she still had tumors on her chest. She said after an herbalist introduced her to herbs so had no more tumors to come back on her chest wall. The key to remember is that you may need to experiment somewhat to find what works for you. But use the resources to see what steps others have taken. I would suggest that you seek out another opinion or a third opinion at a designated comprehensive cancer center. Each state has one and they are among the best research and treatment facilities in the world. NCI: Cancer Centers http://cancercenters.cancer.gov/cancer_centers/cancer-centers-list.html Each patient is an individual and so I do not know why his doctor recommended no chemotherapy. It can be effective depending on the stage of the cancer and the health of the patient. It may be that the patients overall health is not good enough to undergo chemo . . but there are many different kinds of chemo and dosages can be adjusted. Seek out another opinion to see what they say. NCCN: Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology - Gastric Cancer http://www.nccn.org/professionals/physician_gls/PDF/gastric.pdf You should also contact a support group to see what treatment they have tried . . what works . . what doesn't . . and what doctors they would recommend.
