Congress has the best insurance in the world. We can afford the best for our senators. That's why they're exempting themselves form "our" plan.

We are ranked so low precisely because we do have free health care for the near indigent. They will buy beer and lottery tickets rather than health insurance and so get no health care other than the emergency room where they blithely go for everything from common colds to DOA drug overdoses and broken backs. Ted Kennedy did not go to an emergency room for cancer treatment nor did he use the emergency system to try and save Mary Jo Kopechne.

Because he didn't have to? Healthcare in the US is great - if you are independantly wealthy! It's the people who don't have any insurance at all (30-40 million at least) that makes the USA seem more like a third world country than a developed nation.

Ted "Do as I say, not as I Do" Kennedy is an arrogant elitist, who derived his wealth from the blood money, earned illegally by his Irish gangster father, Joe Kennedy. Ted is a typical "limousine liberal" who has one set of rules for himself and another for everyone else, would never eat from the same plate, he is trying to force down the throat of others. Socialized medicine is simply a stepping stone towards full blown socialism, which is the real agenda of liberals. Why else would they support trial lawyers who exponentially increase the cost of health care with frivolous law suits, the cost of malpractice insurance, the crazy jury awards, the needless operations, tests and procedures forced on patients by doctors and hospitals who live in fear of the predator- trial lawyers. Yup, Teddy and his elitist pals want to break the back of the health care industry by demonizing capitalism- drug companies & insurance companies, who are blamed for everything, so they can impose socialized medicine on us all. God help us!

Its amazing that bloated carcass has lived this long, he has drank a river of booze, snorted a boatload of cocaine, lived off of other's earnings, never earned his own way in life.
